Our profile
Bolton for Education Foundation was established on 22 November 2019 by Marina Nissim, Chairwoman of the Foundation and Executive Chairwoman of Bolton. The Nissim Family has been active in family and corporate philanthropy for many years and have long supported culture and scientific research. The decision to focus on education was made over ten years ago.
The creation of Be for Education Foundation represents the evolution and strengthening of a long-standing commitment: to support schools and, more broadly, the education system in promoting knowledge and learning, tackling educational inequalities, and fostering the development of every individual’s potential, while operating with professionalism, independence, and a willingness to innovate and experiment.
