The initiative became fully operational in April 2024, with the launch of an experimental programme targeting non-profit nurseries active in the Municipality of Milan, which were offered the opportunity to access non-repayable grants aimed at improving the overall quality of the educational offer through interventions related to: pedagogical training, reorganisation of gardens and outdoor spaces, building renovations, and purchase of furniture and educational materials.

Thanks to the experimental programme, during 2024 support was provided to 13 nurseries (managed by 12 different non-profit organisations, active in 8 districts of the Municipality of Milan).

In 2025, the initiative continued by expanding its scope to the Metropolitan City of Milan, where we supported 12 nurseries, focusing our efforts on services operating in more vulnerable territorial areas.
